Dear people of Valdrin's Gate,
Our circle of light has been broken. I seek the words of hope, of Prayer. Be you cleric, warrior or mage, write the words of your spirits, gods or light. I beg of you on this day place your words so that they may inspire another. On this page I ask for your faith, in it's deepest and truest form.

I suppose that is only right that I put mine up first. So I present the Pilgrimage Prayer:

Though I walk in the darkness of doubt, I carry the Light of trust
Though I stand in the shadow of fear, I carry the Light of hope
Though I wade into the night alone, I carry the Light of faith
For when the night is darkest, all Light is brightest

Oh Great White Owl, whose voice I hear on the winds and the snow, hear me.
I come before you, one of your followers.
I am small and fearful now, and I need your strength and wisdom.
Behold the circle which once held light brighter than the full moon.
It is broken now. Lost in chaos, and darker than the new moon’s night.
Make our hands fix the cracks.
Make our ears sharp to hear your voice and wisdom.
Make us wise, so that we may know how to bring the light back from a moonless night.
Help me remember the things you have taught my clan.
There is a lesson you have hidden in every leaf, ripple and rock.
I seek strength not to be superior to my friends, but to be able to fight our greatest enemies together.
When our lives are facing a fading sunset, be our eyes in the coming night.

I do not know dis prayer stuff but I can show you how to make light. Pick two Eyebright, is big purple flower, and put de essence of dem togeder [and snap a lightstick] and you have light! Alchemist light seem much easier than de way you seek. All you need is de eyebright and it grow plenty here, and it only take one person to make dat light.

This is but a small light for the darkness, not to replace the darkness but to live with the darkness… I would not wish to banish the darkness. All creatures need darkness and even need de dark beings dat live within it. If there is nothing chasing you, you do not run or fight and your body become weak. If you have nothing to fear, de mind is not sharp since you have noting to outsmart or challenge. If there is not darkness, the light loses its value. Darkness is for to rest de body, and for to hide when need to hide.

Take de light I show you and use it to learn to move within the darkness, so dat you do not trip on tree root or run into bad tings in de woods.
