Greetings,
I would like to invite the local mages of Valdarin's Gate to join in the Mages' Guild. We will have meetings on Saturday mornings at ten in the morning. Any mage, except those of the chaos school, may join. There is a small membership fee, as well as quarterly dues. Those who join will receive a random spell scroll of their appropriate school. Members are also privy to reduced prices on any additional scrolls. The next meeting will be on the twenty-sixth of May. The topic of this meeting will be ritual magic. A ritual will be cast for all members.
Respectfully yours, Guild Master Dingar Gibbson High Wizard Steadrock Tower

I'm a new member of this Society and am trying to build my budget. How much are the dues.

It is five copper to join and an additional five copper each quarter. If you cannot pay up front we can set up a payment plan of sorts. The guild is very lenient.

Are there additional ways to subsidize the cost if one cannot afford the dues?

There are ways to reduce cost, which we can discuss upon meeting in person. I feel it proper to do business face to face. I look forward to meeting you all.

Elven is not one of the languages I can read nor write. Is there any about who can help this elf put words to parchment so we all may read?

I just wanted to have this clarified to help with future issues. Despite Brightray Tower the tower of light, practitioners of spiritual magic are not welcome at the mages guild meeting. I welcome all users of spiritual magic to join us for temple services. No dues are needed but donations are always welcome.

Mak'ton is correct, the guild meetings do not offer anything of value to those of the spiritual path. The tower is to serve to purposes: offer healing powers to the high wizards and other workers and to study any magical attributes to the spiritual path to further understand its power. We apologize for the confusion.
