At the conclusion of our last meeting we decided that we would be researching into animals to see what they would become if made into familiars.
The current list of familiar's that we have information about is the following:
Owls ~ Assist with research.
Spiders ~ I believe assist with surgery, however I am sure our Master of Cups or our Master of Rituals know the details better than myself.
Ravens ~ We are waiting on Morath to check his notes on this animal.
The List of Familiar that are being looked into are the following:
Bats ~ Being investigated by Alondrin Blackcloak
Cats ~ Being investigated by Aife
Rats ~ Being investigated by Bilge
Toad ~ Being investigated by Xavius
Insects ~ Being investigated by Mercutio
Mantis ~ Being investigated by Mercutio
Lizards ~ Being investigated by Sky
Snakes ~ Being investigated by Julian Verdan
Dragon ~ Being investigated by Kyanna
Meanwhile due to high interest our Master of Rituals, Morath, is looking into the Ritual to turn an Owl into a familar.
Other events however have come to light, and after the events on Sunday we have more things that we could be looking into. Notably, the ritual symbols that we uncovered. It is my belief that what we found was the evidence of multiple rituals to create specific golems, or a massive interconnected ritual that created groups of them. We know that the symbols we found were connected with the creation of golems, but not if the work together ~or~ if they are modifying symbols to create different types of Golems.
Clarence has the entirety of what was found, or at least I believe he does, and as I stated before all of our findings will be presented here. The symbols I recorded are:
~ Being Researched by Moroth
~ Being Researched by Archibald
~Being Researched by Xavius
Now, we could also put our time and research into these symbols and the ones Clarence has, especially since Morath stated that he was able to look into three animals at a time. I personally will be researching the ascribed symbol above as well as what bonuses Snakes yield once they have become a Familiar. I am interested in who will be able to or willing to look into any of these symbols to ascertain what their function is within a ritual, as well as any other information about them.
As before, I would ask each member that has the ability to research to confirm what they are researching and sign their name.
Finally, I have already offered to assist in any training that is needed by members, but will remind all of you if you wish to learn from myself, or I bet any other members, all you have to do is ask. I look forward to teaching those that requested my help over the weekend.
