Hello, again-
In the rulebook, it says that the duration for the Light spell "lasts until the glowstick dies." How does this apply to the battery operated ones you can find at Target, etc?
I ask because the Light spells on most of the spheres cost mana to cast.
For regular glowsticks, this not a problem (they last all night) but for those of us with the more ecco-friendly battery ones, this can get mana-expensive (mine shuts off after 5 minutes to save battery life) or battery-expensive for those that do have the option to stay on.
Could a once per night casting cost (per light stick) be a possible solution?
*also*
Am I correct in assuming that once a Light spell is "cast" that it may be passed to another person, or are only their casters permitted to hold them? (The spell does not specify if you can pass them to other players.) For safety reason, I assume others could use them if needed.
With the emergence of more and more battery operated "mundane light" (LED candles, etc.) I can see this being less of an issue now than years ago (back when our only options were bright white flashlights or single-use ceylon glowsticks...) but I'm still curious to know the answer.
Thanks! K. =-)

It would need to be recast every time its turned back on. It can be passed to other people. You could bring a battery power candle or lantern with you and turn that on whenever you wish.
