It angers me greatly to be away seeking the wisdom of the animals and spirits, Just to come back to this rabble. I have received omens of warning and hope and they will be delivered to those that needs to hear them most.
Fire elf points his knife ear my way twice now, I will give you two options to stay my wrath, The first you will give me something of great value to you, or the second you will provide power for a ritual i wish to do in the future. you may pick one.

While I can't say that I trust your visions, I must say this ritual you speak of intrigues me. I shall send a messenger.

Perhaps we should leave all these matters to be dealt with by officials, such as townguards, the viscount, and temple priestess. Arguing back and forth will do nothing but anger each other, which will probably end in someone getting hurt. It's actions like these that strengthen the Shadow. Just saying.

As I said, while your methods might be slightly questionable, I can at least respect a fellow practitioner. After speaking with your messenger, I am intrigued by this ritual and will lend any aid I can.

Chief-Viscount agrees with Mugthar; strength of arm is strength of tribe he told Mugthar and Moroth they can kill whoever wrongs them as long as they pay tribute to Chief-Viscount as proper. He say Moroth and Mugthar enforce Chief-Viscount's wishes and may do as they wish with his permission.
Once wrongs are righted, and honor restored; strength of Valdarin's gate will grow and Shadow can be fought as proper. But Shadow will prosper while honor-less go unpunished, when the vile of tongue speak freely, and when tribe is weak. Mugthar will fix that.

Are we talking about the same "Visicount" who got kidnapped by zombies and when we helped him out, he ran away again?
I haven't seen him lead with strength. In fact, I haven't seen him fight anything at all.

Allow me to clarify, the Duke had come into town; in order to inspect the town and make contact with the viscount, who had by this point gone missing. It was the Duke, who appointed me to serve as mayor, which is why I referred to him as "His Excellency" which is the appropriate address of a Duke. I believe the confusion as to the involvement of a Prince is to to the fact that on the same day the Pauper Prince arrived in town and I had had a brief meeting with him regarding the status of Valderan's Gate.

I can see you are all very bored and have nothing better to do with yourself.
I too wondered when this Dwarf I hadnt heard of called himself Lord, however I did not decide to publicly declare it false without proper knowledge of the situation.
The "Religion" He speaks of is another matter. I believe there are many odd fake "Religions" about this world. From what I know of the Light is the only true worship.
I did not know a Duke came into town. and did not know until this day that T'Char was supposedly our Mayor. I had heard it however I thought it was a joke. I had thought he has a mind of a 70 day (Or so) old individual. However with all the "Wisdom" in his posts I find it hard to believe.
T'Char in fact it was not the Town who pointed your way it was just myself. And it was not because I thought you would be best to lead the town. Sorry. It was more of a joke making fun of your arrogance. I did not expect you to die from it, however sometimes bad things happen when you talk so highly of yourself.
Either way it is clear there is quite an issue with the Dukes decision I wonder what can be done with this town, It seems we are fragmented.

Enough of this squabbling! I will make clear what I can. First, I am not a duke, but a count. Count Mantequille Beurrier to be precise. I arrived to keep order to this sad little town while the viscount was away. I asked the elf to help so I could get out of Valdarin's Gate. He was to collect taxes and see things run smoothly so I could return to town more befitting of my title. To be honest, I could of chose anyone, but he was the first person I talked to with some sense in his head. If I knew you would all get your small-clothes in a bunch I would of brought in an outside source.
As far as this Lord Ironforge, I will looking into his title and discover it's validity. His temple will be investigated as well.
I will be in town this Friday if anyone has any quarrels they wish to ensue.
Count Mantequille Beurrier

Captain Citanul, I do not understand your accusations of the arrogance of my actions nor of your desire to find humour at my expense rather than to share with me any observations of behaviour which could be perceived as negative and then offering productive advice.
I also remember asking you for assistance, in the matter of collecting the taxes which the Duke had ordered that I collect. I asked you to assist because you ha a much more in depth understanding of commerce than I possess.
I do not comprehend why the conditions of my existence irritate you and I assure you I do not think myself particularly wise and I can only say that my words are merely the result of deep and careful contemplation of the situations and nuances that have been presented before me.
Should the Duke renounce his decision I will happily oblige, should the Viscount return to his duties I will happily return to my studies.
By Lyanna's grace, I intended only to serve the community which welcomed Lily and I into it's protection and community. The aggression, the distrust, the hatred which has become the currency of these small peoples concern me and trouble me greatly.
It is apparent that strength of arms rather than strength of character is the virtue aspired to here and that indeed makes my heart heavy.
